Assisi, best know after the Italian Catholic friar Saint Francis. Perched on a hill top in Umbria, it is a small town full of

beautiful streets and churches and truly a great place to host your wedding. In every corner there is a church, each one

with own unique charm. Its hard to emphasise the beauty of this town without being biased, but it really is a true diamond

in Italy’s countryside. Assisi is a town of pilgrimage, however it is also a town of welcome. The local community are familiar with visitors and

have a friendly welcome for all.

Catholic ceremonies can be held in many of the beautiful churches including the famous Basilica of St. Francis. Civil

ceremonies can be held in the Town Hall, the “Palazzo dei Priori” which is the landmark of the town. There are some

beautiful piazza’s within this town, some overlooking views that will take your breath away. In addition there are plenty

places to stay, eat out and have a romantic ceremony.
