Chiusdino

Located on the border between Siena and the Maremma countryside, the village has two thousand years of history, dating

back to the days of ancient Rome, although today the village does have few more mod con’s!

In Chiusdino there are a couple of important monuments such as the church of San Martino and the church of the

Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano where you can walk inside the walls under a “roof of heaven”. A wonderful old Abbey
