Siena

Siena is a medieval hill town in Tuscany, famous for its large fan-shaped “Piazza del Campo” which is situated in the

heart of the town and is home to the famous summer horse-race, knows as “Il Palio”. The square is paved with bricks and

surrounded by quaint bars, restaurants and wonderful historic buildings. This piazza was originally a Roman Forum and

later became Siena’s main marketplace.

Siena’s Wedding Hall is Palazzo Pubblico, and is a Gothic palace with a bell tower that soars 192 meters high, the second

highest medieval bell tower in Italy. You can walk up the tower’s 505 steps for some classic views of Siena and the

surrounding countryside. Couples are permitted to take pictures after the wedding ceremony inside the beautiful palace and on the main terrace.
